County driver training use a Compact, In-Vehicle, Mobile Digital Video and Audio Recorder. The "ADR" Automated Driving Recorder is an on-board digital recorder with Infrared, Dual Lens Cameras, Audio, GPS Google Earth, 3-Axis G-Sensor and Manual Incident Button.
The palm size system attaches to the windscreen behind the rearview mirror.
Video and audio is recording all the time, if the instructor presses the manual incident button the unit will capture and save 1, 2 or 3 minutes before and 1 minute after the event.
If any driving needs to be reviewed it will be uploaded to the members web page where the film can be reviewed.
Also all the manoeuvre have been filmed being completed by the instructor and can be viewed at any time in the members section of the web site.

A recent survey said that statistics show, by watching a training film you will take in up to 40% of the information but when watching yourself on film, you will take in between 70 – 75% of the information.
