County Driver Training will insure that you follow a structured learning program - At CDT you will be given Structured Tuition following a logical sequence according to the DSA syllabus. Help and Advice on theory training will be given free of charge, including the supply of Free Theory Mock Test papers, Dvd's etc if required.
According to the DSA (Driving Standards Agency), those who pass their driving test have had, on average, about 45 hours of professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice. Learners who combine professional instruction with private practice are also more successful on test. Remember the DSA figures are just a guide and not a guarantee of how many lessons you'll need. Training with CDT will reduce time considerably if you follow our structure and have regular lessons.
Lessons may be taken according to Pupils requirements, we would generally recommend a two hours driving lesson once a week as the best way to make good progress. (Substantial savings can be made in training time required by taking two hours driving lessons) By paying for blocks of driving lessons in advance you will be eligible for discounts on our basic lesson prices.
The members part of our web site has specially designed to help you learn quicker. Here you can check your progress on your lessons, check theory questions, book more lessons and ask any questions you may have.
Also you will have access to videos of all the manoeuvre's you require to complete in your driving test. The videos will enforce what you are learning in the lessons and you can watch the videos at anytime you want.
